Yup, I owned one.. Yeah.. I waited in line at Best and paid $311.99 for a Sega-CD the day it was released. Way back in November of 1992. You know what? I never regreted it.. Not even a little.

The Sega-CD was one of the best purchases I ever made for my Genesis. The games it brought above and beyond my expectations, games like Lunar, Vay, Silpheed, hell even Night Trap, were (and still are) insainly fun to play. In my mind, the Sega-CD was the gateway for the Saturn and the Playstation, it was (at least in the US) the first popular CD based console system, it showed us what the CD format was capable of, and it's amazing to me that any Cartridge based systems were releaed after the Sega-CD *cough*N64*cough*crap*cough*.

Kega Fusion

What more can I say about Kega Fusion that isn't in the Sega Genesis section? While it's not the first Sega-CD emulator, it is with out a doubt the best in existance. Steve is a tiny God.
