REALLY OLD NEWS Archives
Progress at last!
Having access to a good air compressor is a must for anyone restoring aracde machines. Over the weekend the Vendetta Machine was re-sanded and a couple new coats of Polyurethane were applied with a Spray Gun, It looks absolutely beatuiful now. Besides the new paint, all of the edge molding is in place (thanks to a very small circular saw blade). The only thing left is a new Jamma connector, the Quad Jamma board works fine with all of my older games but anything that is kinda recent (Mortal Kombat 2) doesn't like it. Screen Glitches and random reboots. Oh well, it was a good idea, maybe I'll keep it around and try to redesign it.
Okay Check this out..
Well, I just moved into a house from the apartment I was living in, so now the machines are in the garage. Which mean that I can make more noise, which also means that I can start to actually put the finishing touches on the machines. I still have get to cut a groove down the edges of the side panels so that I can finish putting on the T-Molding. (BTW: If anyone here knows an easy way to do that without a Dremel let me know) I also need to find some suitable side-art. Lastly, I need a monitor bezel for a Gauntlet machine. Well, I guess we'll see what happens.

Skin for WinAMP
Well, if any of you have been to the We Want Bruce page below you might have noticed that they have the We Want Bruce theme song in MP3 format.. And if you didn't already know the prefered MP3 player is WinAMP. Well the latest version of WinAMP (v1.92-sp1) supports custom Skins (interface graphics). Well, I have been re-working one based on your favorite yellow disc and mine... Pac-Man. So take a look at my Pac-AMP Skin for WinAMP
[Note: The "We Want Bruce" page is gone now.. However, WinAmp also supports MOD, MTM, XM, VOC, WAV, MID, CDA, and MP3. So if you're just looking for a all-around good media player, I would really suggest getting WinAmp!]
Tell me how much I suck! Niobium
